Congratulations to 2012-2013 Fogarty Fellow, Dr. Bartholomew Ondigo, who has been one of 10 scientists selected for the new African Postdoctoral Training Initiative.

Congratulations to Fogarty Mentor Dr. Lishomwa Ndhlovu and 2015­-2016 Fogarty Fellow Dr. Gabriel Loni Ekali who were awarded the UW/Fred Hutch Center for AIDS Research (CFAR) International Infrastructure Award.

Congratulations to 2017­-2018 Fogarty Fellow, Dr. Elison Sarapura Casto, whose Fogarty project, “Parkinson’s Prevalence in Jauja” placed 1st in the Central Region category of the 2018 Medical College of Peru research competition.

Congratulations to 2014-­2015 Fogarty Fellow, Dr. Paul A. Burns, who was recently appointed Assistant Professor at the John D. Bower School of Population Health at the University of Mississippi Medical Center.
